Halloween

The first ever event in BarbieGirls.com, the Halloween celebration happened for 3 editions, starting on 2008. Probably the largest event, users would be presented with special decorations and creepy music on well known sites like B Park and Twilight Woods. Many limited time costumes and furniture were released with new ones in each edition. A Halloween starter kit was also given to all users.

For even more fun the event started with the Trick or Treat transformations or the Halloween Goodie Bag to get some free Halloween items or B Bucks. On the last edition, after the badges update, users could collected limited time badges, from Fun e Fashion categories to get exclusive Halloween themed items.

The skunk also got dressed for Halloween. A hand aslo appeared on the water. On 2010, the last edition, Crush Boy (who was added on V-Day 2010) transformed on a werewolf who would howl from time to time.

Halloween was also the perfect time to launch a shop. On 2009 B Chic Boutique was closed and changed into B Kooky Costumes, the place where users would find costumes and the limited time available Halloween clothes.

Some events had limited time activities which members could do. Being the first ever event, it also had the first type of these activities. The Trick or Treat transformations were the base for the Funky & Fairy Power.

How it worked: User would click on any member and ask them to transform themselves, which could be a treat (BubbleGum Fairy, Licorice Pixie, Lollipop Pixie, Corny Orange Fairy) or a Treat (Monster Bride, Big Pumpkin Head, Funny Sssnake Lady, Werewolf Girl).

To turn off the transformation users had to simply click on the glowing pumpkin purse on the top corner of the screen. There was also the option to refuse giving a transformation to someone.
