B Posh Pets
One of the original shops of BarbieGirls.com , B Posh Pets was one of the main sellers of V.I.P. memberships. While an all members hangout, only V.I.P Members could adopt a pet and buy items for the pet. There was in total 18 pets to adopt: 4 original pets (Dog, Cat, Bunny, Monkey), 6 Deco Packs exclusives (Panda, Penguin, Turtle, Koala, Elephant, Giraffe), 2 Day-to-Night Packs (Panda, Penguin), 3 Missing Pets (Koala, Elephant, Giraffe) 1 Badges Collection Prize (Glam Dog) and 2 Online V.I.P. Membership (Panda, Penguin). All pets had two colors which players could choose.
It was one of the few moments in the game were merchandising was advertized in some way. While not directly it made players wonder how they could get the displayed pets that weren't available at the shop.
Besides the pets, the shop had furniture and decor for the pets such as beds and toys.
The shop also had a direct link to Pixel Chix original game Jammin' Hamster.
Adopt a Pet
Even though pets were one of the main features to get a V.I.P. Membership, they are a very small part of the world of BarbieGirls.com . The pets worked as furniture, only being seen in the players room where they could be interacted with. Because of being interacted as furniture there wasn't much a player could do but each unique pet had it's own tricks and unique animations: Play, Eat, Sleep. Players could only adopt and own one pet at a time, if they wanted another one they would have to give the previous one (but the pets unlocked by each player would always be available at B Posh Pets). Each pet had two color options to choose.

Tail-Shakin' Tree House
Tail-Shakin' Tree House was a V.I.P Member exclusive hangout. A large tree house in the Barbie Girls World, many pets lived in the tree such as: Bunny, Raccoon, Monkey, Parrot, Kitty, Panda, Squirrel and a Blue Bird that appeared from time to time to lay on the nest. The Penguin is a link to the V.I.P. exclusive game Shimmy Bop Pets. The hangout got covered in snow during Christmas in 2009 and 2010, being one of the places where the Giraffe from the 3 Frisky Pets Activity could be found.
Jungle River Boogie
An exclusive V.I.P Member game, Jungle River Boogie main goal is to save baby animals and bring them back to their mother in a Rainforest environment. Players could choose a rain forest raft and a scout character. The chosen character would be controlled with the arrow keys through the river and save the 4 baby animals of each species while avoiding obstacles. The animals were: chameleons, pink dolphins, tree frogs, squirrel monkeys, toucans, tapirs, kinkajous, jaguars and river otters. After each level some fun facts about the endangered animals would be given to the player. The game ended when all animals were reunited and the players would awarded B Bucks based on the score.
Groom and Glam Pet Salon
Groom and Glam Pet Salon was added to the website on November 2010 as advertisement to Barbie Groom and Glam Pups game for Nintendo DS and the Wii which offered 1 month V.I.P trial for Barbie Girls. It is just an hangout even though it looks like a shop, and has a simple activity. Players would have to find six hidden bones in the salon, which would give items for the Barbie Groom and Glam Pups game. The place also had a poster of the game as decor for all players rooms. The place was also linked to the release of a new collection of Fun badges Groom and Glam Pet Salon which prize was the Glam Dog.
