B-Day
B-Day was the event that lasted the fewest time, having only lasted the week around Barbie's 50th anniversary, which was on 9th of March 2009. Players got an invitation thorugh mail to go visit B Café that was decorated in all pink with a large birthday cake. Nothing else was added and the event was never available again. In 2011 they reused the B-Day B Café decorations for V-Day with some minor alterations.
Funky Flower & fairy Power
During early Spring 2009 a new version of The Trick or Treat transformations were released: the Funky & Fairy Power.
How it worked: User would click on any member and ask them to transform themselves, which could be a Fairy Power (Rainbow Fairy, Raindrop Fairy, Sun-fire Fairy, Lightnin' Fairy) or a Funky Power (Funky Sunflower Girl, Funky Rose Bud, Funky Pansy Pal, Funky Daisy Diva).
To turn off the transformation users had to simply click on the glowing flowers on the top corner of the screen. There was also the option to refuse giving a transformation to someone.
After 2010 the transformations were only available for V.I.P. members at Sparkle Coaster Place.
Too-Cool back-to-School
Too-Cool Back-to-School was released during September 2009. It had an unique format, as there was not any decorations, just new items of clothings. During the first week news clothes arrived to the shops (2 dresses and 3 jackets) and in the second one was time for the accessories (2 hairstyles, 1 scarf, 1 pair of earring and 1 pair of boots). The V.I.P. members who bought the items before September 24th would receive a new pair of boots in their closet as a reward for completing the collection. On 2010 all items were in stores once again for a short time but there wasn't any checklist of items to complete to receive a reward.
April Fool's
Another super unique event that only happened once was April Fool's in 2010. Described as a BIG day, the players avatars would be quite large, barely fitting in the hangouts of the world of Barbie Girls. While at first glance it could look like a glitch, it was quite a unique and amusing feature.
Inspire Girls
Inspire Girls was a campaign that lasted for around a mounth in 2010, were players had to sign a declaration for a national novement to inspire girls by The White House Project. The main goal was to reach 1 million signatures. All players who signed received a special code that they could enter to win a unique shirt.
Autumn Fashions
During Autumn 2010 a limited time collection of new clothing items was released to stores (2 hairstyles, 2 pairs of earrings, 1 necklace, 1 scarf and 1 purse). 5 new colors to change items were also released only to V.I.P. members (Chocolate Brown, Steel Gray, Playful Purple, Fabu Blue and Precious Pink). When Winter arrived the items were no longer available but the colors stayed.
Spring Fashions
During Spring 2011 there was a similar collection to the Autumn collection that had a few items (1 jacket, 1 leggins, 1 pair of rain boots, 1 purse and 1 pair of earrings.) There was also 3 new colors and a new pattern just for V.I.P. members. There was also Spring Fever Special memberships that included a unique raincoat, a dress and brand new eyes with yellow eyeshadow and lips. The items were supposed to be available for a limited time but as they were the last new update to the website, they were never removed.
