B Central
B Central was one of the new places created after the 2008 big update to the website and became a landing place for all users. Players could check on screens what was new on the website (if there were news, it was usually on thursdays). There were updates on events, newly added stuff on the website or just reminders of certain activities. There was also access to the Buzz & Goss and to the Arcade.
barbie Girls Rooms
Barbie Girls Rooms was a server to access rooms of other V.I.P. members that were at their room at the moment and would let anyone come in (with maximum of 6 players inside). All players had their own rooms to decorate with a decent amount of space (they could choose flooring, walls and exterior view plus deciding if they wanted a bed or not). V.I.P. members could buy more furniture at Furni Fever and pets could be brought from B Posh Pets to decorate and interact. Decorating their own room and having parties inside was one of the main seeling points of the V.I.P. memberships and MP3 Players. V.I.P. could also choose who to enter their room, having it locked where nobody could come in, fully open to welcome anyone or having players knocking before entering the room. Also there was the option to only let best friends enter which would able the Secret B Chat option.
Rockin' REC CENTER
Rockin' Rec Center was added to the map during April 2010. It was the first and only new place added to Total Girlhood and was one of the most unique on the website. After some polls to decide a new hangout, it finally came the time to launch it but with a community event. During four weeks V.I.P. members would have to help paint the mural in Deck Out the Rec! (a click and paint activity), that would get more complex each week. The rec center that started in construction was finally finalized after that with it's plants grown and the community reward achieved: a new hairstyle and a Beginner Gamer Girl Badge. The Rockin' Rec Center's release was tied to the Barbie line So In Style that celebrated African American dolls. Players could see at the center Trichelle and her little sister Janessa, the artist dolls from the S.I.S group.
Buzz & Goss
Buzz & Goss was a zeppelin that flew over Total Girlhood can could be found at Barbie Girls Central. The main goal of it was to give the latest scoop on the website to the players, polls to vote and picking favorite looks of members and rooms like it was a magazine. Players choose the color and patterns of the B & G plus the view it flew over at Trick It Out! In Latest Fave Girl members could nominate a friend and a random user would be picked every two weeks, while with Rank-a-Rockin' Room! a random room was picked and then ranked. In Whatcha Think? there were polls to vote in a great range of topics and some even to helps decide future updates. Sneak-a-Peeks! were "photos" of users interacting in hangouts kind of like paparazzi photos. Dare Ya! was for fashion advice and new items to get and Don't Ya ♥︎ It?! was to pick the best dressed member from three options. There was also a footnote screen B Scoop that said what was new around the website. The B&G had some special decorations in certain times of the year and events.
